Tr Monica Amolo teaches Pre-Primary 2. Her class of 20 students comprises of 7 boys and 13 girls aged between 5-6 years. Before joining the school in 2008, she was a teacher at a catholic school in Migori (countryside). She then decided to relocate to Nairobi where her husband has been working as a shoemaker. Her love for the less privileged attracted her to work at the school. Her two sons Harry and Dan are past pupils. Tr. Monica also benefited from training support from the school.
The school has been her pillar of support in providing medical care, nutrition, and education. The togetherness and support system at Hands of Love is one reason she continues teaching at the school despite having opportunities to transition her career elsewhere.
