More good news! Grade 2 students excel in all areas of study!
Recently, we posted the impressive test results of our Grade 1 students versus students at other local schools. We are very proud to report that our Grade 2 students also performed well in the Kasarani District Common Assessment Framework standardized tests.
Teachers, Lilian and Pauline report they had almost perfect attendance among their 39 students, thanks to the close working relationship with parents. The children received a full education despite the shortened school term of just 58 days. Utilizing the wide variety of craft materials donated by our supporters, Lilian and Pauline were able to provide hands-on, innovative and memorable learning experiences.
The students’ outstanding performance at the end-of-year assessment enabled them to easily advance to the next level. In fact, we are proud to report that all Grade 2 students have moved on from Hands of Love to join nearby schools in Kariobangi.
